Rosanne Druckman, MSW, is an experienced consultant, trainer, nonprofit board member, and executive director. She has supervised, coached, and mentored professionals and volunteers in diverse settings. As principal of Rosanne Druckman Consulting, she provides consulting services in areas related to strategic planning, training, and other organizational issues. For 12 years, Ms. Druckman served as the Executive Director of Hartford Consortium for Higher Education, an alliance of area colleges and universities. As a vice president at United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut (9 years), she led a department responsible for planning, allocations to a broad range of community programs, and government relations. She spearheaded a major priority-setting effort that resulted in funding increases to children’s services in the capital region.
Ms. Druckman’s latest practice and research interests relate to rookie executives and emerging leaders in human services. From 2013- 2014, she designed and implemented a 12 session training program for new executives of a nonprofit in New Britain. In 2015 and 2016, she was the instructor for the NASW/CT and UConn School of Social Work sponsored certificate program on skills for managers/supervisors. She has several published articles including Rookie Executives Need Not Fear Mistakes published by the Connecticut Community Nonprofit Alliance, (formerly known as Connecticut Association of Nonprofits) in Nonprofit Advantage.
