Ken Steller, MS, MA, is an Organization Development Consultant in private practice. Formerly he was with the UConn School of Social Work as part of the Organizational and Skill Development Unit at the CT Department of Social Services. Ken’s graduate degrees are in psychology and counseling. His personal and professional interest in stress management began in the 1980’s when he was on the staff of the Psychology Service at the VA Medical Center in West Haven, counseling medical and psychiatric patients. He initiated a wellness program at the VA for patients and staff that included stress management, smoking cessation and weight management. Moving into the organizational development world in 1988, first as a program coordinator for Aetna’s corporate health promotion program and later as an OD consultant, he has continued to develop stress management programs for a variety of organizations, incorporating current research on stress and how to manage it effectively.
